The Bible is the verbally-inspired Word of God, from Genesis to Revelation.
The Trinity
The Godhead
God is three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Ghost - and yet, he is only one being. He is perfect, sovereign, and omniscient.
Jesus
God, in the flesh
Jesus was born of a virgin, and lived a sinless, perfect life. He died to be our substitute in death, and rose again to give us assurance of our redemption.
Salvation
For everyone, for ever
Salvation is free for everyone, through grace and Jesus Christ alone. Once saved, you can never lose your salvation.
Heaven and Hell
Both are real
Both Heaven and Hell are real places. When a person dies, his soul goes to one of the two places. Heaven for the saved, and Hell for the unbelieving.
The Church
Congregation of Believers
The church is a visible congregation of baptized believers, following and practicing the principles given in the New Testament.
Pastor Jeremy has served as our pastor since 2023. He and his wife, Michelle, married in 2007 and have four children: Tyler, Chloe, Kyle, and Zoe.
Raised in a Christian home in Phoenix, Arizona, Jeremy received Jesus Christ as his Savior at the age of five. At eighteen, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and was eventually stationed in Washington, D.C., where he attended Independent Baptist Church (IBC) of Clinton, Maryland. After an honorable discharge, he remained in the D.C. suburbs to serve at IBC. There, he met Michelle in 2006, and they were married the following year. Between 2008 and 2013, they welcomed their four children while continuing their ministry at the church.
In late 2015, during a work trip to the Pacific island nation of Palau, Jeremy felt a deep burden for the people there. After praying for guidance with Michelle, they felt God calling them into missions in early 2016 and began full-time service that same year. They spent three years on deputation until 2019, when God’s will shifted while they were visiting a church in Davison, Michigan. Feeling led to stay, Jeremy became the youth pastor and was ordained as a minister. In 2023, Jeremy felt God moving again. After consulting with his head pastor and praying with Michelle, he answered that call and became our senior pastor.
